We’re getting to the real fun part over here. One of the most distinguishing factors about Main Street Life, is about how the developers Propertuity envisioned the many uses of the building. This week proved to really put these plans and concepts to the test.
Propertuity have built the playground for us here, and even during construction, people are starting to use it….nicely!

Two crazy swiss artists build an incredible art piece on the roof of the building, and the days are fill with other events, and performances. Fashion designers Black Coffee meet with Jonathan to start planning their hotel room design for the 12 Decades Johannesburg Art Hotel. And lastly, GQ magazine pop in for a visit. phew!
0 Comments Continue readingWhat a crazy past few weeks, so great to see the different uses of the building. Love how one week we got this whole hip hop scene one day, and then some bad ass rockers the next. Just to give you an idea what we’re dealing with, Maraza’s track One Foot in The Game debuted at 10 on the urban/ international chart on YFM and last I heard, it hit the number 2 spot on the hot 99 chart. Also indi rockers Voodoo Child have been nominated for Best Rock Act at this years SAMA awards, so we wish them the best of luck.
Having these events have been a great way to show off the building, and many of the cast and crew have taken the next step towards being able to wake up every day here in Main Street Life, and live this Maboneng Lifestyle.
