Can Residents use the roof at any time?

The rooftop area is a common area of the building, but is also the bar area for the Hotel. Unless the roof has been booked for a private function, the facilities are there for use by the residents. Private events on the rooftop will be listed on the daily notice board.
If you would like to book out the rooftop for an event, email mabonengprecinct@gmail.com. Residents get special rates.

OK, so electricity is prepaid, what about water?

Water is charged on a percentage of the water used for the building. Basically, we work out what percentage your unit occupies of the entire building and charge you that percentage of the water costs.

How do I sort out my electricity situation

To register for Pre Paid Electricity, request the forms from mabonengprecinct@gmail.com. From there, you fill out the forms and fax them to the number on the form or email them to mark@ekhwesi.com (fax is preferable though). You will need to pay a minimum of R 100 into the account (details on the form) to register the meter.
The form is fairly higher grade, so all you need to fill in is your details, your unit number and the number on your meter starting with 041 (not the barcode).
If you register after the big changeover date, 8 SEPTEMBER 2010, then please notify mabonengprecinct@gmail.com and we can set a date to have your meter unbypassed.
After this, it is pretty easy to request your recharge token- and it’s all on the form.
